Crucible centers on the haunted figure of a man whose legend is forged in violence. Fissured glasses mark him as fractured, yet unbroken … a chemist of diabolic destiny whose singular journey leads to chaos.

The dark teal background shifts under light, glowing blue by day like the crystal substance that fuels his empire.

At 18” x 24”, Crucible halves a frame with the violence of a box cutter dripping blood, a scarlet droplet of poison paired with the button-eye of a stuffed animal and a lethal bike lock. The white underpants, a crispy chicken leg, and the enthrallingly exaggerated fly summarize the absurdity of the protagonist’s savage existence.
