Broken Glass Loft
Survival is both elegy and anthem: endurance in a fractured world. At its center, father and daughter figures stand as guardians of each other in the midst of fragile lavender and mauve glass fragments.
Billowing fabrics of lustrous gold and indigo blue are entwined with lush vegetation. They overhang a white window frame and encase a formidable alliance in adversity … a dramatic bulwark of lives lived amid ruin.
Nature presses forward. A giraffe, rendered in warm amber, rises as a symbol of graceful persistence. At the margins, creeping fungi and a ravaged “mushroom man” embracingly threaten decay..
Fragility and permanence converge. Survival is a parable of resilience.
At 20” x 24”, Survival distills ruin and wonder through light. The glass affirms not only that humanity endures, but also why.

The color palette reinforces a dialogue amid the muted greens and browns of growth, the dusky violets of aftermath and the sudden flares of firery orange-red shielding hope at center.
